Caster Semenya is making a comeback

sports.yahoo.com

Caster is making her comeback this saturday she going to run the 800 meter in potchefstroom. She has a new coach Maria Mutola and they have been preparing for these olympic for some time now. Caster is fortunate to have Maria as a coach bacause she herself was a runner. she has won three world titles in the 800 meter, so she knows which things are accepted and tecniques that will improve her work. In a way she will help Caster to show the world what she is capable of regardless of what happned in the past year. This will be the second time she is compiting this year.

If caster wins this one it is going to be great deal for us because she will have the chance to participate in the London olympics and put South Africa out there. We believe she has the ability to pull through eventhuogh last year she had an injury. South Africa has not yet won a lot of medals since the past years but now with people like Caster and her coach Maria we are hoping that they will make a diifference and bring home some medals. The article about her comeback was published in Athlectics Africa.

In September the  women will be taking part in the world cup. This is where the team can prove to those who  do not believe that these women are capable of being the best team. There are a lot of preparations that need to be done before they can actually say they ready like training a lot more harder than they are used to and implementing new ways of training.Coach Yashin  Ebrahim-Hassen  said  that "this year is a big year for us world cup year,we will be travelling to Sri Lanka for ICC women's world cup in september. http://www.cricket.co.za/

Basketball in South Africa

Basketball in schools

Basketball is an internationally recognised sports which is more powerful in the America but South Africa is also doing something about this sport. www.basketballsouthafrica.co.za/

In the past few years basketball has been growing in our country there are schools that take basketball as a serious sport just like they do with other sports.Yellow wood pre-school is also taking part in this sport and there is a whole lot of other schools. Mostly the schools that take part in this sports are in town, schools that are situated in rural areas or informal settlements do not have the resources to take part in such a sport therefore they have no interest in the sport.

Vusi Mgobhozi and Eric Nkosi were respectively president of tresurer of BSA Sascoc's move were accused of finincial mismanagement. This is the reason why schools in disadvantaged areas do not have the resources they need to take part in this sport. we need responsible people to be having such great positions so that they can make a difference. www.mg.co.za/organisation/basketballsouthafrica
