The women who paly for cricket South Africa are on a journey of making themselves a better team. These women take pride in what they do. The sport has grown very much compared to the past, they now have a large number of growing supporters who support these women in every possible way.

There is a programme called the Cricket South Africa under 19 Girls week which gives the girls from different places a platform to partcipate in the sport and watching other great teams. this programme inspires a lot of these girls because they are given a chance to shine, not only  will the girls have fun at this programme but the coaches will give tips on how the teams can improve where necessary. 

In September the  women will be taking part in the world cup. This is where the team can prove to those who  do not believe that these women are capable of being the best team.There are a lot of preparations that need to be done before they can actually say they ready like training a lot more harder than they are used to and implementing new ways of training.Coach Yashin  Ebrahim-Hassen  said  that "this year is a big year for us world cup year,we will be travelling to Sri Lanka for ICC women's world cup in september. http://www.cricket.co.za/
