Louis Vorster watching a game |
Some of you will wonder why i have posted a picture of Pat Symcox as the first picture.i know it is not appropriate because i am talking about what has happend to Louis Vorster. this is a way to show you that some organisations do not do things in a proper way by that i mean as i was reading an articles about the death of Louis Vorster on Yahoo i realised that they have posted a wrong pictsure. this has given me reasons not to see yahoo as a credible source if they can post something like this, how many errors do they have. the fans and family are hurting and all they can do is post a wrong picture.i am dissapointed.
what happened to Louis Vorster is very sad because he died for no reason. The robbers shot him at a petrol station while he was getting gas. Crime is increasing everyday people die for no reason and people are being killed for their belongings. Albie Morkel the chennai super king allrounder has returned to South Africa for the funeral of his friend.it is very sad that when some of us try to make a better life for ourselves there are those who are watching us and planning on taking what is ours.Louis Vorster lived his life as a golf player surely he had other dreams but now they have been taken them away from him. His family must be in a bad space right now loosing someone that is close to you is an experience that no one forgets.hope they can find it in their hurts to forgive those who did this so that they can be able to move on. Justice must be served.

What are emphasizing on this topic is it the way players are treated on their organisations or yahoo as an unrealiable resource? please elaborate.
ReplyDeletethis topic was about paying my last respect to Louis Vorster then i realise what yahoo has done and they just ruined his memory.their image as an organisation is a bad one because of this.
ReplyDeleteYahoo posted a wrong photo of Louis are you serious? How can they do this, anyway this shows that we as students when given an academic research we should used books to do our research not the internet.
ReplyDeleteyes i am serious,i agree with you we should make use of books but when dealing with current events we have to use the internet, newspapers and also the television.
DeleteI bet that Yahoo learnt their mistake of not getting full fact especially the correct picture before publishing sensitive stories like this one. They(Yahoo) must apologise to the family and to the entire cricke lovers for causing confusion.
ReplyDeleteyes they should this is such a sensetive issue.
DeleteEven me i was surprice that Pat is dead. This wrong through one character, puting a wrong picture by the Yahoo is more sensational to the family of Pat and Louis.Yahoo need to apologe on their mistakes.
ReplyDeleteIt just goes to show that some of the things that we read about in the media is not 100% correct, It is very sad that they can even post about him and not even pay him respect by posting the corect man . I agree with Trot a written public apology should be posted to the family.
ReplyDeleteyes i agree with u, things that we read somtimes are not entirely true that is why we need to check for facts before assuming on things.they owe both families an opology
DeleteI don't get what goes on in a person's mind when they wake up and decide that today they will rob someone or kill someone.
ReplyDeleteVorster's death had surfaced on social networking site, Twitter. The senseless murder of such a person whether it is Louis Vorster, the cricketer, or anyone,is just unacceptable. And our government biggest concern is to unarm people who have licensed firearms. Why don't they have more roadblocks and get the stolen and unlicensed weapons off the street. However, then we have magistrates allegedly posing as policeman who rob businesses in daylight. Was it also in their lunchbreak i wonder?
ReplyDeletei also ask myself those questions loyiso, i guess we will never know how other peolpe think and why they do certain things.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an Idea who Mr Vorster is, but I certanly have interest in finding out who he was. However this sounds a little artificial,it's hard to find truth in it. However this raises something to my attention, it is never safe for famous people to drive around or be in public places. It isn't safe for any living being but famous people are being victimised, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteyes they are and it is not fair at all.
Deletewell it is very sad that insted of going forward and helping each other to succed there are still people who kill others for their belongings.a rong picture by YAHOO is very suprising as they are a source that a lot of people trust and believe its credible.
ReplyDeletesadly now the people who believed that yahoo is a credible source are now questioning that,i m one of those people.
DeleteMay his soul rest in piece hey...and am personally shocked that Yahoo posted a wrong picture of Mr Voster...i hope they goona apologise to the family for what they have done hey...
ReplyDeleteOrganizations should start making sure they get their facts straight before uploading a picture of the wrong person, this is unacceptable.
ReplyDeletecan crime come to an end in our country for a change?im starting to bealive that south africa is nolonger safe
ReplyDeleteYou maybe right to believe that South Africa is unsafe but i think that we as South African citizens we should work together to ensure that all this criminals go to jail because sometimes we stay with them and also protect them as we believe in covering for a friend or family member.
Deletei have also peaked it up that not only Yahoo but some newspapers do that mistake, and im talking about our well credited newspapers. They should be very strict in their employment system cause this shows that they hire editors that can not do their work properly.
ReplyDeleteShoo wow, I guess this was a lack of proper research. I mean why would they post a picture that they weren't sure of? And it's very sadning to see how poeple kill senselessly for other people's belongs - belongings they worked hard to get.
ReplyDeleteFrom my point of view i think that crime is just out of line but as for the wrong images, this shows that the reporter do not have a proper back round of his/her profession, because from public relations point of view we know that when covering an organisation's internal issues for the public you have to ensure that you know the history and everything about the organisation to avoid using may be a wrong logo of the organisation.
ReplyDeletethat why we really need to support campaigns like SHOUT because really the are trying to stop crime like this
ReplyDeleteI think crime is really a factor in our country, and more campaigns should be implemented to try and stop crime. It is sad to lose a loved one because of someone who is lazy to go out there and do it for them and wants to earn a living through other people, who work hard for themselves and after they have got what they wanted from that person they kill them
ReplyDeletein the media industry you work long and har and for years to biuld your reputation and you do one mistake and it is all gone let us forgive yahoo it did a mistake
ReplyDeleteClive I have to agree with you on that. People learn from their mistakes.
